Chamber celebrates Nov. 26 as Small Business Saturday

Our Chamber and Main Street Newnan are partnering to celebrate Small Business Saturday this Saturday, November 26. So what is Small Business Saturday? It takes place the Saturday following Thanksgiving each year and is a celebratory day founded to encourage consumers across the country to support local, small businesses within their hometowns and beyond.

Since its founding in 2010, Small Business Saturday has taken on a life of its own, uniting small business owners and communities to "Shop Local, and Shop Small." American Express is the founding partner of Small Business Saturday, and businesses who sign up to participate in the event by registering through American Express' Small Business Saturday website will receive complimentary swag items, advertising and marketing material. Businesses do not need to accept American Express to participate!

For more information, contact Courtney Harcourt of Main Street Newnan at
