Candidate Forums kick off tonight at 7 at CEC

Tonight at 7pm, the Newnan-Coweta Chamber will kick off our series of Candidate Forums for this spring. These include:

Thursday, April 21, 7pm at Central Educational Studio:

• Board of Education District 2 At-Large

• Board of Education District 2

Tuesday, April 26, 6:30pm at Central Educational Studio

• State Senate District 28

• Probate Court

• County Commission District 1

Wednesday, April 27, 7pm at Wadsworth Auditorium

• U.S. Congressional 3rd District—Democrats 

• U.S. Congressional 3rd District—Republicans

The format will be a modified version of the League of Women Voters format. There will be a two-minute opening by each candidate followed by a series of questions vetted by the Chamber. Fairness of the questioning will be ensured. The Chamber will not take a position for or against any candidate.
